There’s no denying I’m a bit of a product junkie. There’s something so exciting about updating my makeup bag with new cosmetics or finding a new product to enhance my skincare routine – and I know I’m not the only one who feels this way! With so many products on the market, sometimes I get a tad overwhelmed deciding which cosmetics to try, which brands are the best, or which products will really benefit my skincare routine and which won’t.
Because of this, I have become obsessed with the new QVC Beauty Boxes, which are filled with samples and full-sized products of some of the hottest beauty brands all at affordable prices! Shopping on QVC is nothing new for me, as I am easily persuaded by all of the great deals and products I quickly learn I HAVE to have – so of course I’m loving this new Beauty Box collection I recently discovered.
Aside from the perks of getting a box for myself, I’ve also discovered these make great gifts for friends! Since many of our friends live in different cities, we often visit and stay at their homes for the weekend. Though a thank you card is always appreciated after a visit, we like to get creative and send a little something extra to brighten their day – and our latest thank you gift is the QVC Beauty Color Cosmetics Discovery Collection box. Since it’s priced at only $24, it’s an affordable, thoughtful, and always exciting way to show our friends how grateful we are!
What’s inside the box?
The QVC Beauty Color Cosmetics 7-piece Discovery Collection Beauty Box is packed full of goodies that I had no idea I even needed! With three full-sized products mixed in with the samples, it’s crazy it’s available for only $24.
Algenist Reveal Color Correcting Radiant Primer
My makeup routine always begins with a primer, so I love experimenting with different primers to see how they compare. This tinted primer was perfect for preparing my skin for my foundation, by giving a smooth base and helping my foundation stay on all day. The product is lightweight and helps color correct my skin, and I know I’ll be ordering a full-sized bottle of this one soon!
NUDESTIX Magnetic Eye Pencil
Following my post the other day about eyeliner, I am OBSESSED with this eye pencil. If you’ve never tried an eye pencil, it’s basically a multi-purpose miracle stick for your eyes. Though a lot of brands make this product, this NUDESTIX one is my favorite I’ve tried so far. Unlike certain pencils that can leave a sticky or heavy cream feeling on your lids, this particular one feels just like a powder with the staying power of a gel. Blend a light line of this over your lids for a daytime look, go a little heavier for an evening smoky eye, or outline your lids for a metallic liner. Overall, love this one.
Perricone MD No Lipgloss Lipgloss
Though I’ve always preferred lipstick to lip gloss, I really love the Perricone MD No Lipgloss Lipgloss. It adds more color than the typical gloss, has anti-aging benefits + SPF, and contours and plumps your lips – which I don’t know about you, but I always appreciate the added oomph to my lips.
IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50+
Though it was my first time trying this CC+ Cream, Blair purchased a full-size bottle of this a couple weeks prior and literally has NOT stopped talking about it. This product completely smoothes your skin and gives a perfect all-over glow, without the intensity of a highlight. Goodbye imperfections, hello gorgeous!
Julep It’s Balm Full-Coverage Lip Crayon
Lip crayons have a tendency to fall into my lipstick category, so no surprise this lip crayon was instantly tossed into my handbag for everyday wear. It glides on easily and leaves a subtle glossy look. I would order this in every color.
Washing my face is probably my least favorite part of my beauty regimen – but unfortunately, the most important. My cabinet is packed with all sorts of cleanses, serums, and lotions, but occassionally I find myself dodging those for the quick, makeup remover wipes. The Campanelli towel is as simple as the wipes, and it’s unique in the sense that one side is used with water for removing makeup, and the other side is used after for exfoliating your skin. It’s super easy and soft, plus you can toss it in the washing machine after a couple uses. Simple!
If you’ve never tried a blender sponge, prepare to become addicted. These affordable sponges help your foundation glide on smoothly, plus they are easier to wash than foundation brushes – simply run it under warm water and leave it to dry!
So whether you are looking to discover new products to add to your makeup bag or want to ship a little something special to a girlfriend, I definitely recommend the QVC Beauty Color Cosmetics 7-piece Discovery Collection. Be sure to try it out and let me know what you think! xo
